i went outside and drank punch while reading the far side book "The Chickens Are Restless" while my chickens scratched around my glider that i lounged on... ahhhhhh

I didn't get up till 1 and then went to band practice at 5 and got back at 7. I haven't had a life the past to weeks what a relief.

I volunteered at a nursing home today.

i went to U of M hospital to get a check on my illness and got a awesomely fun blood draw....but since i was such a good girl, my hubby took me to Domino Farms on site and went to the petting zoo.

got to zoo...$5 a piece to get in. we have NO cash, just cards.

the head guy starts talking turkey (literally) with me and ends up giving us a personal tour for free, and they had livestock we are looking to adopt/purchase!

they had AWESOME mini cows. also trying to breed frizzles with phoenix...way cool.

so, it was a super day, even though i had to the doc.
