Great idea! We were thinking about using them for homemade tagliatelle (type of pasta) and some swiss rolls to store in the freezer and fill with wathever we want to make cakes as needed.
For this winter I think I'll buy some large jars and try to store water glass some eggs for when the girls will stop laying.
 
Well I thought one of my silkies had become a freeloader and stopped laying then while cleaning the hay in the bird house I found all these! I apologized to my chicken....
