OMG -- I love my girls !!
today I went out and gatherd 11 eggs today out of 16 hens - and this big egg surprised me
it has a pinkish color so I know this is from one of my light brahmas. today I gave them a treat of strawberries,apples,tomatoes,lettace to thank them for the other double yoker - now what should I give them tomorrow LOL

the green egg is from one of the EE's and the darker one is from one of the silver laced cochins

that makes 2 doubles in one week - wow I must be doing something right

Do you cut up the fruit for them or just give it to them whole?

I cut the fruit up in bite sized pieces - so my two little banty's have a fighting chance to grab -n-run LOL
they dont get the apples seeds I think I read somewhere they are not good for the chickens or the ducks.
