Great idea, passing it on to get a better one. I am so excited to use it. I guess I am makin mashed taters tomorrow come hell or highwater. LOL!

I kept waiting for my old one to die so I could go get a new one. Gave up on that happening so since my daughter and other DIL already have one I thought I could pass it on and not feel like I just junked it to get the new one. She was tickled to get it. A win-win situation.

From what I have heard, waiting for one to die is futile. I have a friend who's mother has had hers for 40 years. Ken was totally amazed I told him this was the best gift EVER. He has no idea. I love to cook and this going to make my life sooo much easier!!!!

My wife has one and it is money well spent. We bought an other brand a few years back and it didnt last at all.....finally just threw it away. Bought the real deal off of QVC one night when they had it on sale for a good price. I would like to make pasta with it sometime but havent ventured that far. I have used it to make cookies on occasion(yes I make the best homemade sugar cookies in the world)!
Wife was using it to make her now famous cupcakes that are cinnamon/yellow cake with cinnamon/butter cream frosting.....they are tasty

You can't mention a recipe without providing it....it's against the rules!

I will share the cookie recipe i promise. It was my mom's mothers, I started making them when I was a small child....remember standing on the chair helping my mom make them. They are a cake type sugar cookie....still my favorite cookie in the world.
As for the cupcake recipe.....I might get in trouble if I shared that....my wife created it and actually makes the cupcakes and sells them to people......a state secret....haha...
And hey there Katy....didnt I see you stirring up trouble on a thread the other day?

To be very honest, I had the pasta attachments and wasn't that impressed with them. Pasta comes out better (for me) if I make it by hand and use my pasta roller. I also still prefer to make bread by hand because the texture when you use the machine is... different. I think the mixer is too efficient at mixing flour in or something?

Congrats on your KA, I know you will love it! I have had mine for 22 years (I also have a KA hand mixer, love that too!) and mom got hers 34 years ago. And my brother keeps trying to talk mom out of hers.
