in the haymow? 47 eggs in 4 different piles. We had checked up there in the past few weeks and nothing was there. I scrambled them up and fed them back to them and put the shells in the compost pile.

I think I might put them on the TV show about Hoarders. Needless to say, we'll be checking daily!

I always run mine through the blender before cooking them up, that way they get the calcium back out of the egg shells.
 
So my neighbor found my hens stash with his riding lawnmower they were NOT fresh!
