I think you should have been tagging @Lovely Lettie , too.

If you salt test a humidity gauge then you know for sure that it's reading correctly.

Most incubators humidity readings are usually off.
Temperature readings are not always correct either...

Number one rule is to never trust a built-in thermometer or humidity reading on an incubator.

Always purchase separate instruments and calibrate them yourself
