Have a fun memory with the eldest DD who, in 3rd grade one day asked me, “Can I -…”
And… I replied without missing a beat,”I don’t know, *can You?”
She stammered ,”ugh , Daaaaad.”
I laughed she begrudgingly smirked eventually.

The next day when picking them up… the 1st story to leap from her mouth? Yeah, a follow up story on *This event…. My teacher caught using the word can like you did yesterday Dad, and I was like, “*oohhhhh* my dad caught me on that one last night.” We all giggles.
