I just thank God I'm not a person like this NUT.

Have you had any luck getting them back yet?You think THAT is bad...
Our neighbors STOLE our chickens... went out and STOLE a hen and all her babies...
We've been trying to steal them back for years...
Though it shouldn't be considered stealing! They stole them first from us!
THE NERVE! At least the guy stole EGGS. This family stole our birds, chicks and all!
In the dead of night when they were sleeping as well as chasing them around in the day time by trapping them I am sure (luring)
Hasn't anyone tried calling the cops on this guy? I sure as heck would!!!That is just wrong of your neighbor! Where do people think they can get off stealing from others without fear or retribution? I have a neighbor here in town that has, over the last year or so, been isolating themselves from everyone in town. Now, we don't have a big town, just 50 people, but in one summer he managed to alienate nearly the entire town. Something is wrong with him in the head, and now we all avoid him. But he thinks nothing of walking into other peoples' yards and stealing fruit off their trees. He doesn't ask, and he does it in broad daylight. Currently I do not have fruit trees, but I am planting some this Spring, and I'm not planting very many, so if he decides to come into my yard to steal my fruit, he'd be able to take most of it in one shot! A lot of people in town grow their own food, and even more have fruit trees in their yards. One neighbor is a lovely older lady that lives with her husband about a block down from me. I love chatting with her in the summers. Well, she owns her property as well as another lot across the street and sort of catty corner from her house, but visible from her house. On that lot she has a lot of different kinds of trees, her favorite being these trees that grow these tiny little peaches on them that have white flesh and are very delicious. She gave me and my kids permission to pick them summer before last (none grew last summer cause of the cold snap the winter before), and I was respectful. The trees were abundant, but I took enough to eat, and knowing I had permission to go back if we wanted some more, I didn't take more than say, a WalMart bag full (they are REALLY tiny, could almost eat one in a single bite!). Well, she's the only person in town that has these peaches. Before the weird neighbor was alienating himself, he approached me as I was taking a walk with my kids one afternoon and had bags of the little peaches and asked me if I wanted some! I was surprised, but declined. I then walked down to my neighbor's house and asked her if she had given him permission to pick her peaches. She had not, so I told her what he had just done. She was furious. He also takes all the black raspberries from the bush she grows on that same lot, and he takes apples from my next door neighbor's ONLY apple tree, and I believe he takes peaches from his next door neighbor too. Oh, and the lady that lives next door to the church, he takes her pears. He's a jerk that has caused a lot of problems for a lot of neighbors. Some people are just...oh, what's the word I'm looking for, selfish? Greedy? I don't know if those words are right, but they describe part of his problem. Anyway, I'm planting cherry and apricot trees as well as blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and cherry bushes (yes, there is a cherry bush, blooms each year and has LOTS of cherries on it), and I don't quite know where to put the trees, except in my living room, where I can guarantee he won't touch them. Maybe I'll chain my big old Chow mix girl to the tree during the day. I'm considering getting a dummy camera and positioning it in plain view to deter him. I'm also going to put out a sign on my trees that state clearly, unless I give you permission to pick fruit from my trees, then keep your greedy paws off them! I am getting some Blue Spruce trees too, so maybe if I plant those to block his view of my house (he lives catty corner from my house) then he won't be able to see my fruit trees. Until I get electric fencing. I'd like to see him climb THAT to pick my fruit!![]()
