Guessing this is a matter for concern

Went to collect eggs this afternoon and found this....as titled, I'm guessing this is a matter for concern. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Mild concern but it is not unheard of. It looks like a hen was straining quite hard to pass her egg and she burst the blood vessel. They usually heal up pretty quickly. At roost time tonight, you can don a headlamp and go out and examine all your girls to try to find out which hen did that. Then keep an eye on her to make sure she's all right.

I have had a blood tinged egg occasionally, and it can be common with a new layer or oversized egg.

Thank you both SO much for your info. They all seem to be behaving normally, eating, pooping, dust bathing, etc. Here's a pic of today's egg. I'll check them out tonight!
