Guessing what color eggs your chicken is going to lay?

I just found this and was wondering if anyone else has heard of this. "Did you know that you can tell what color eggs a chicken will lay by looking at its earlobes?" Here is the webpage I got it from http://smallfarm.about.com/od/farmanimals/a/buildyourflock.htm it says this at the egg color part. If you have heard of it is it accurate?

I have chickens that lay green eggs. None of them have green earlobes.

Generally, chickens with white ears lay white eggs but there are some exceptions.

Interesting, I have never really looked at chickens earlobes before to notice there is a difference.
