Guide to hatching chicken eggs the easy way

Thanks meant to add that part in about the humidity also I use a still air and what I mentiond above still works thanks

Thank you! I didn't now that about 25% is the minimum humidity. Luckily when I vent the lid it usually still stays about 27-33%!

I adjust my humidity based on egg weight. They need to lose on avg. 14% over 21 days so if they're not losing enough I lower the humidity. I'm on day 4 and I have my humidity set to on at 39% off at 41% at lockdown I bump it to 63-65%. It seemed to work fine for me on the last hatch as nothing dried out and the chicks had no problems hatching. my temp. fluctuates with the heater cycle between 99.3 and 100 I'm still in the training stages as this is my third attempt. first attempt was awfull because of a heater prob. then shorting out the controller. second was better. I got 62% from viables but that was usung eggs from older chickens so I believe that had something to do with the lower rate( avg. 3-5 yrs old)
