Guinea attacking hens

I have a guinea that has been raised with 3 of my pullets (also with 6 other hens and 1 rooster). The rooster and the guinea don't seem to be having any issues despite me reading that male guineas and roosters fight to the death (maybe later in life? the guinea is 6 months old and the rooster is 14 months old). I have noticed lately that the guinea charges at and chases off this one group of 3 hens (partridge rocks) that I have. They are older than the guinea by about a month. Last week I saw the guinea "peck" at one of the hens roughly like he was headbutting it on the back of it's head.

Is this normal? How can I keep my guinea from picking on a few hens in my flock?

Guinea fowl are high energy birds and can be a pain in mixed flocks if they are confined to pens. Free ranging and the companionship of other guinea fowl may help. If not, guinea fowl taste great.
