Guinea chick having trouble breathing

The chick is 2 days old and opens its mouth to breath while making a gulping motion. The area where the neck and body meets also seems to be soft and feels as if it is full of water. Is there anything I can do?

Are you talking about the crop? I'm not an expert, but you might want to check out some articles on impacted or sour crop. I'm not sure about the whole gulping thing, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable chimes in.
