Well I'm day 14 with 2 fertilized guinea eggs in the incubator. I do not have a male guinea only 2 females and my suspicion of my rooster mating them is confirmed! I've read up what i can and I know they will be sterile but I need more information! If I have both hatch I'm assuming raise them same was as chicks and guineas but has anyone had any? What is their temperament like do they survive was this a mistake? I just want to make sure I am giving them a chance at life and what things can go wrong so I can be prepared! Thank you for any help and advice!

I agree, I was just answering someone and told them the story of "Miracle," the guin-hen. from some years ago.

Miracle was thought to be a male until she laid an egg and died soon after. She had the size of a guinea but the heart & lungs of a smaller chicken. None the less others tried to replicate the breeding - as far as I know none went well.

I opted not to hatch my guinea fertilized chicken eggs. The hen was a black sex link, so already a mix. It’s definitely not unheard of. There is a site you can see the different guinea mixes.
People say guineas are ugly, but they clearly have not seen what mixes look like😬

Best of luck with your hatch. I’m sure I’m not alone in being curious on how your little ones will look.
