Can someone explain the different colors of guineas? I have one snow white, 6 light grey, 4 dark and striped with white necks and 4 dark striped with dark necks. Ill post pictures tomorrow when I get a better signal reception. Is there any charasteristic differences between the colors?

Thank you, when they are full size I will have something to go off. I will still try to post some pictures

Thank you for the responses, those seem like very descriptive links. My other question was does the color of the bird affect anything? I got them after research and considering housing as a way for mother nature to fight the rampant tick problem here, I didn't find anything about colors the whole time. Does one coloract the same as the other? By the way (in case its not already obvious) I'm new to this. Thanks for your help

All guinea fowl, no matter what color variety they are, will eat ticks. There shouldn't be any difference in their behavior. The only concern might be that the light colors, and in particular the solid white color, may be more likely to be picked off by a predator. It's not guaranteed to happen, but I've heard several complain that that has happened to their light colored guineas.
