At night, I can pet the guinea fowl easier with the light off and I thought they can see better at night in the dark better than a chicken. One perched on my pinkie finger. Hand side ways. They are semi tame. I want to only feed animals that let me pet them. If I grab one in the daytime I can calm it in two to five minutes.

Nope, they can't see at night. That's why it's important to lock them up at night, bc they're defenseless from predators.
