We are new to hatching and first did chicken eggs and did ok. We then put guinea eggs in and thought they took the same amount of time to hatch so we took them off the turner at 18 days. I just now realized after no pipping that they take 28 days. So my question is will they still hatch without being turned for 4 days?

Turning helps give the developing embryos a new section of food to feed off of, keeps the yolk fairly centered. This said, they will probably be ok. Get the eggs turning again, and you might candle at lock down to make sure they are still alive.

Good luck with your hatch!

Thank you for the info. I did put the turner back in as soon as I read that they took 28 days. My fingers are crossed.
