Guinea egg humidity

OK...ask a dozen different people and get a dozen different answers...so looking for a dozen answers. What percentage of humidity do you look for when setting and hatching guinea eggs..I have heard everything from 25% to 60%..what is your opinion or what works best for you???

Just hatched out 30 keets. ~30% day 1-25 then ~70%.

If you study up on hatching eggs one of the first things the experienced folks will tell you is to ignore the instructions that came with your incubator. Take a look at chookschick's incubation cheat-sheet. Great info for someone getting started.

60% does sound too I usually do mine at 40% then up to 65% during lockdown. I think guineas are easier to hatch than chickens. They are tough little buggers.

oops meant to say too high 60% sounds too high to start with.

just candled the first batch, on day 16, out of the 42 only 26 are growing the rest are either not fertile or just no good. This is the first eggs of the year from my flock. Hopefully the second set will be a little more fertile. I have the humidity at 55-60% and the air sacs are a little small.
Might drop humidity about 10-15% and see if that helps.

took out water tubs and sponges today and humidity dropped to 35%. Will leave it that low until day 25 when i will raise it up to 70%. Will post updates when I candle on day 25. Hope this works.

lockdown today...added sponges and water and humidity is up around 70%...eggs are pipping already...will see how many hatch...
