Guinea egg incubation

I started incubation Guinea eggs 15 days ago. We took them off the best of mama Guinea. How do I know how long to let them incubate? Not sure how long she was sitting. I would guess maybe a week. Can I lock them down early and will that hurt them? Thank you

Guinea eggs usually take 28 days to incubate. Have you candled them at all?

Yes I have and I have 13 fertile eggs. From what I understand guineas lay an egg a day so I have no idea when she started. So from what I’ve read some of the eggs are getting to the stage of me not being able to see through and mostly dark.

I think they would go into lock down at 25 days if they are similar to chickens. Hopefully some one with guinea experience will chime in soon.
