I am so excited. I purchased 10 guinea eggs from Redbug for my broody Sussex hen and candled 2 last week. They both had embryos! I have since ordered the book "Gardening with Guineas" and have a large covered place for the keets and hen to live. They can see the rest of the chickens without fear of being pecked by one of the chickens. I have a heat light over part of the area to make sure that they stay warm with or without their "mom". I have the hen's food elevated so the keets can only reach their turkey crumble and gamebird mix. Part of their run is in the barn and it extends outside which is also covered. Have I left anything out?
