Guinea fowl and Quail same as chicken?

Do the same space requirement apply for Guinea fowl as chickens

OH MY GOSH! We only have three acres so I quess I should give up on the Quineas! By the way JJ my quail hatched from your eggs are doing great. The whites are twice as big as the others!

we have guineas and they pretty much stay in our yard, we have a 6 ft. fence around most of our property, but they still fly over the fence and go to the neighbors pasture and eat their bugs, they like them, we are lucky... some neighbors would not be so easy going! The guineas are really loud! they don't call them watch dogs for nothing!!!! They are pretty cool and eat a lot of bugs. if you raise them in the chicken coop and they know where their feed is, they will come back to roost or if you have trees nearby. we have trees right over and surrounding our chicken coop so in the summertime they all roost in the trees. if you don't have trees and the neighbors do, they will most likely roost in your neighbors trees!
