guinea fowl as a meal

have you ever eaten one?if so what is your opinion?

Never eaten one, but was told they are like a mix between chicken and pheasant. SO that told me NOTHING because I have never had pheasant either! Maybe it'll help you though

We ate them when I was growing up. They do taste a lot like pheasant.

If you haven't eaten gamebirds it's hard to compare it to anything. It's not quite chicken. Personally I dislike chicken so this is not a bad thing.

I have ate one at a restaurant and it was dark meat, gamey, rich and I personally thought it was good!
