Guinea fowl broke its talon. Not an emergency

Should I just leave it be or at least get put it in some warm water for a little bit and make sure its clean?
It seems to be bothering her quit a bit as she's limping a little and has been sitting a lot.
I think it happened earlier today.

Can you catch her? I would catch her and see if you can detach it and put nail powder on to stem the bleeding. She may clean it herself once it's off. Keep an eye on it.

I'll see if she'll let me hold her they don't mind me petting them that much but they don't like it when I pick them up.

She isn't freaking out with me touching her I've been petting her every now and then I also have her buddy in the breezeway with me and her, so shes not lonely while I figure out what to do exactly.

I'm going to have to cut the stuff connecting her nail to her toe, would using a small knife be okay to cut it off with? I don't have a scalpal.
And how should I clean the knife?

Does your Dad or Mom have some type of clippers that can be sanitized?
Ask them.

Like toe nail Clippers? Or dog toe nail Clippers? Cause we have both this kind of things.
