Are you talking about letting them out into a run or to free range? How long should l let my guineas out they are 6 weeks old just want to know how long during the day
Thank youIf you are talking about letting them free range, I always start with a few minutes that I am right there with them. It also depends upon how long they are have been outside in their cage. Personally I would not let them free range if they have been in their cage less than three weeks. Most people wait six weeks. I'll do 10-15 minutes that I am constantly with them for a day or two. After that for about a week, I'll let them out here and there for an hour two hours or so and always offer them treats once going back in. Live or dried mealworms or white millet. Next step is opening the door in the mourning and calling them in before dark, always giving a treat. Of course, I still check on them several times a day, keep tabs when I can, and give treats for fun. That will continue the rest of their lives lol. I have acclimated them this way for years and it has never failed to work. Good luck with your babies.
