Btw, I checked on the nest tonight about 2300 when I finished up some chores outside. I noticed there were several eggs that had been pushed quite a ways from the nest. So I managed to pluck off about 15 of them with only getting bit a couple of times.
I candled them and it looks like there is some development so I threw them in the incubator tonight. I'm getting ready to set a couple dozen Ameraucana eggs so hopefully they'll all hatch about the same time.
