Hi guys. We are very new to having chickens and guinea hens. We bought 9 chicks. 4 Silkys ,2 jersery reds, and 3 others. We have also been raising guinea hens since last fall. We got 6 of these as keats and kept them in a coop until spring. Last week one of the hens laid 14 eggs and has been sitting on them for a week. We didn"t know if we should let her hatch them or try to hatch them ourselves. Current problem- Last night out area was flooded and we found eggs washed out of the nest. Hen still nearby. We moved the nest farther uphill as we are expecting more rain and flooding today. Is there any chance these eggs will hatch. Help please.
