Guinea hen with vision problems?

Hello! So a little over ten days ago I noticed one of my guineas was limping. I checked his foot thuroughly but didn't see anything wrong and decided to just keep an eye one him. He seemed to get better and stopped limping but would still hold his foot off of the ground when he could. Since that started he mostly just lies around and has been fine with me getting close and holding him. Actually, he sticks kind of close by me when I go in the pen. The other guineas have been picking on him a bit which may be why he sticks around me.
Today I decided to sit in the pen for a bit and make sure that he ate and got plenty of water. After watching him for a while, I realized he seemed to be having problems seeing.
I offered him some comfrey and he kept missing it by an inch or two then gave up from frustration. He also continuously looks up and around when he eats which seemed a little weird. Then I watched him try to ruffle his wing feathers and he was missing his feathers by about an inch or two also. Bugs that would fly around him also startled him.
He looks fine as far as I can tell, I'm going to further inspect him later though.
Has anyone dealt with this? Should I do anything for him or just leave him be?
He's only around two years old so I wouldn't imagine that it has anything to do with age. I'm not sure if he's flying onto the roosts at night and am going to check later tonight.

I'm sorry to hear that.

It sounds like it could be a vitamin deficiency. Try offering some scrambled eggs and plenty of vitamin A to help its eyes. If it isn't a deficiency it could be a neurological condition, which can also cause limping, loss of coordination and vision problems.

I tried offering him scrambled eggs but he wasn't interested. I even tossed some comfrey and other greens on it but he just picked out a few pieces of the greens and lost interest.

Guinea fowl are tolerant of diseases, but they can get Newcastle, fowl typhoid, fowl pox, corrhiza, salmonellosis, coccidia, wire worms and tape worms.
