I have 1 guinea hen who just hatched about 12 eggs. This is her 2nd year hatching eggs and I was wondering if she'll end up being a better mom this time around than last time? None of her babies survived last year and she won't let anyone see her babies yet so I don't know if they are all there.

Well I noticed that after they hatched, she just resumed combing the yard and didn't stop and wait for the little ones when they were tired and couldn't keep up.

if you let her again take the young keets outside probably, some will be lost. guineas are originally not good parents when allowed to roam free with their keets. some make good parents with the assistant of the flock or other males.they usually do atleast better in the hot season.
