I posted a few days ago about a injury to my guinea's foot. No one had any advice. We have no vets in the area that work with fowl. I found the name of a vet who has guinea's and called her. She was very helpful and so the guinea is moved inside on a hay bed with cat food to eat until better. The problem seems to be the cold and inflamed feet. I am told I will know when she is better because she will be too noisy to be in. Right now she doesn't have much voice at all. I was worried to separate her but she is doing good. She also told me, which I had never heard before, guineas rarely get infections because they have a high body temp.
