So, my Guineas showed up with one, fully featherd keet today. I assume until today the hen had it in her best, but tonight they all went to roost in their favorite tree. The keet is too young to fly up there, so we caught it. I feel terrible taking it from its flock....... Any advice? Should I just get over it, if I want it to survive? I can't imagine catching it every night, but I guess I could

I'm no expert on guineas I just got mine a little while back. If it was me I would catch the baby every night until it was old enough to fly up in the trees with the others. I would give the little one every chance to survive. On the ground it wouldn't last very long by itself at night. Good luck.

Thanks! My husband votes yes on the daily night catch idea. Lol- that will be fun! Hopefully the bird just gets used to it!
