Hello, I'm new here, and I need some help!
I'm raising some guineas right now, and they are doing great! But, this morning I saw one of them had it's left eye looking like it was popping out! :( I researched it all day, with no luck.

Maybe it got something in it or it's infected? :/

Hope the pics show it well, I'd really appreciate any advise.
Thanks! :)

I've never seen anything like it before. I would separate the keet from the rest just in case what he has is contagious or if the others are picking on him. It could be an infection or it could be an injury (which could lead to an infection). I once had a 3 day old keet who managed to get through the chicken wire in the coop. He was crying and it was early in the morning so I rushed out. Momma guinea was in the coop so she couldn't do anything so I quickly picked it up and put it back in. I noticed something was wrong with the eye and I believe he scratched it on the wire. It had a bubble around it like what yours has but it wasnt as swollen. It healed on its own and the keet was named pirate because he was blind from that eye.
I hope you figure out whats wrong with the keet.
Good luck.

Thanks so much Fowling, I read the thread about your pirate bird, best of luck with him!

I think it might have injured its eye, it also pushed its way out of the brooder fence, and I found him running back & forth trying to get in! :(
Apart from its eye, it's doing really well! It is not being picked on, it eats/drinks really well, and it's very active, and loud! Lol

I'm going to try putting a wet, warm wash-clothe on its eye, that seems to help everything. ;)
