guinea keets with female phesant?
So I had a free range quinea hen who made a nest in a old fallen down barn, never thought she'd make it but she did with 20 keets. I caught 19 to intice her back into the coop that she always knew. The next day was in the 90's so I let her out and checked on her after work. I found 15 chicks that had found a hole in the floor and the parents with 5 chicks back in the brush to the old nest. I tore up the floor and saved the 15 chicks and caught 4 more leaving one with the parents who after a day appreared with out the chick and two days later never appreared. So my question is I have raised pheasants thru the NYS program and release them into the wild but this year we have one that is blind and doing just find in her pen, she now lives with us and comes to her name of pretty girl, she will stay. She feels her way round with her beak and finds her way into her house for food and water as long as I don't move the water. Can I put the guinea keets in with her so they can have an inclosed pen with a house. I don't want to interfer with pretty girl but would like the keets to be able to grow but be confined. I don't know if like chickens they can get the pheasants sick or not.
Any help would be appreciated. And please don't judge me for keeping the blind pheasant, she is fine and happy loves all the goodies she gets cause she's special, she loves to sit on my arm and is amazing as to how she has adapated.
Thanks
lori
