Hi everyone,

I have 17 keets that hatched around March 29 and I was wondering if I get a few hens outta the batch when will they lay? I read on other threads that they either can take 14-18 weeks or don't lay until the following spring. Since mine will reach 14-18 weeks around August and the days are still pretty long is there a chance that they'll lay? Or will they wait an entire year?

Thanks!

Since you are in Pennsylvania you should expect your new guineas to start laying next spring. If you lived in Texas it is probable that they would start laying this coming December but I wouldn't expect that as far north as PA.
