That’s adorableAt our Zoo they let the peafowl & guineas free range to help keep bugs down. Last time we went (probably a year and a half ago) a peafowl was running from a guinea who was flying very low just over it's head. Everyone got out of it's way. The keeper explained the guinea thought the peafowl was it's mothers and kept chasing it. Who knows maybe it was adopted.
Aww that’s cute that your guinea will perch on top of your arm. Also good luck with hoop skirt now that summer is coming. What a handsome guinea Guinea is!
I have a guinea rooster named Moltres (also known as "Hoop Skirt"), and he's started to get a tad aggressive now that spring is starting up... he's fine during the winter, but in spring? Hoo, boy, keep him away from my knees -- that handsome little twit will do his best to draw blood if he thinks his mate is in danger... even if that danger is the food-human. And who cares if said human is wearing cargo jeans?
Oh, well, he and his mate are responsible for the little egg that hatched out Spook, the friendly little guinea I-think-it's-a-rooster that loves attention and will perch on my arm for minutes at a time.
Anyway -- why do I always digress so much? -- that's handsome guinea you have!
