guinea question added pictures

our 2 guineas are just loosing their face down(if that is what it is called) and they look terrible.
3 months old
Just wondering that when there nice soft fluff starts to fall out ,off their heads, if it takes awhile for therir heads to look normal (for an adult) i cant explain it they just look almost scabby.do they get something on their faces sometimes or is it normal for them to look yucky for awhile.
I see photos of nice colored skin on the face and mine dosent have that.

When they are young (approximately at around 8 weeks) and losing their keet down they do go thru a really pitiful ugly stage.. mine have all grown out of it/past it at about 3-4 months of age.

Please post pics if you can, and tell us their age!
