Guinea that's not a good flyer

We have our chickens and guinea housed together with a very large run we have left part of the run uncovered for the guinea to come and go bit the never go far only a couple feet from coop and back in but they like to roost on top so my problem is we have one guinea that isn't as an good flyer as the others he has trouble getting out with others even though we have put lower the gs for him to get on and when he gets out he can't get back in and goes in panic mode and we always have to chase him back in the gate he refuses to try to fly back... So my question is he just not good at it like the other pros we have or should I clip one of his wings for his own safety

When wanting guineas to fly in and out of a pen, put a landing board on the top of the fence. It allows them to see how high they need to fly to get over the fence and also allows them a place to sit while coming and going.

It is possible that a landing board may or may not help your problem child get back in. If it sees others sitting on the landing board it may fly up and join them.

We did that and also put ones even lower for him because he just seems to be no good at it once he's finally up and gets out he just panics and refuses to use them to get back in and just tries sticking his head through the fence
