Guinea Update w/ pictures

Forgot to add, I bought 10 Coraline guinea keets this spring, which is why I'm cruising this forum. I hope to have eggs/keets next spring for sale. Surely people would rather have a noisy bird around, than fall prey to something like Lyme disease. I think that the demand for guineas should rise.

What color are these guineas? Never heard of them.

This is a Vulturine Guinea that is sapphire blue. It is very beautiful but not available here that I know of. I would post a pic but it may be copyrighted so I better not.

LORD NO! I just have the regular guineas. Dear sister picked them up, and told me they were opalines, lol. I don't really care, as I got them for tick control. I do plan on cooping them at night. We have Great Horned Owls, and that light color would be a bad thing at night in a tree.

I got these for $2 a keet, when regular pearls are going for $4+ dollars, so I'm pretty happy with them. I looked at them today. They still look white, and it's my understanding they will be white until their first moult.

Gosh, got all excited you had something new. LOL Especially a royal blue. That would be a beautiful guinea too!
