Will a guinea hen ever use a nest box? I have two and they are confined in a run with the chickens. They lay their eggs in the dirt in a hard to reach spot. If I put nest boxes on the ground, would they use them?

They might but remember that they are guineas and will do what pleases them and not what you want. There are guineas that do lay in regular nest boxes. If you can make the nest box appear to be secluded giving them the feeling of being hidden, they may be more likely to use it.

Too true. They do what they like.
