From now on, I am putting them into lockdown a day early! Last night I went to put the eggs in the hatcher....2 pips! Last time 1 hatched in the egg turner in the bator, and another was pipped! I hate moving them after they pip because then I worry about them being shrink wrapped! I can't let them hatch in the bator because the humidity might ruin my other eggs that aren't due yet. Now I'm going to spend the next 2 days hovering over the hatcher and worrying because they started to hatch before lockdown.

So that's it! from now on...they go to lockdown a day early!

When I put mine in when someone asks how long they take to hatchI always say anywhere from day 24-28. I always have them start haching on day 24.
