guineas attacked

Something or things came and killed 7 of my guineas. We found parts and pieces all over. Now the rest of my guineas and turkey are scared to death. My turkey won't even gobble! Do ya think it may have been coyotes?

Doesn't that just break your heart when the others are so scared. . .I don't know what it could have been, but so sorry for your loss. I have seen a lot of foxes around our area lately, several hit on the road which is really unusual. . .what about a coon or a posse of them? they are so vicious. I have one that comes and go in my attic, and I am going to have to set a live trap to get rid of it. Good luck with finding and getting rid of the predator!!

How do you secure them? An investigation of your coop or run should tell you how they got in, and you can take steps from there.
