how old do guineas have to be before you can let them free range from coop

At what age can you start millet. I was told that this should be given to as a treat so they will come back to coop at night. If this is not correct. I am up for any suggestion. I am new to this. I don't want to loose any of my guineas.

I'm not sure about when you should start, but if they are given any grains, they should have access to grit for digestion. I think you could probably start giving them millet or other grains by six weeks old, bc if they were raised by a hen, they would be eating it with her. But I wish some experts would weigh in on this.
