Guineas mix with chickens?

I have six chickens and am planning on getting around eight more. I have an 18 by 21 wired in chicken run with housing. I would like to get to or three guineas for some variety. Will they mix well with the chickens? I have read never have a guinea rooster in a pen with chicken roosters. Is this true? Should I just get guinea hens? Thanks.

Guinea hens can be mixed with chickens. pheasants and chickens cant be cooped together, because chickens carry deases that are harmful to pheasants.
