Gunky eye

Thanks for all the help here, just wanted to update that his eye has healed up nicely. What I think happened is he tried to get a little frisky with a broody hen. I think he learned his lesson!

I just saw this thread and my hen's eye looked like that after an attack. We rinsed her several times a day with saline. She is partially blind in her eye because it was punctures but she didn't loose her eye and she has adjusted to having just the one good eye.
