Gurgles- Help!!

Unfortunately today she has developed a cough. My boss (the vet) said unfortunately the easiest way of diagnosing a sick chicken is a dead chicke. 😭 I mean in a sense that’s true. Gonna look into sending a blood sample to the state.
How attached are you to this chicken?

Not “attached” per say- we have a working farm so I’ve been there done that.

And trust me, it is my plan b (culling) all three of them depending on what I’m dealing with bc I don’t want big flock getting it as I want to be able to incubate eggs for sale. I have been doing VERY strict bio security in the mean time.

UPDATE: took her down to the clinic today. Vet listened to her- chest is completely clear. Numbed and looked down her throat, completely clear. We did the tracheal swabs and I sent them out today to Zoologix for a respiratory PCR panel. Should know something end of this end-beginning of next. Vet still thinks she had sour crop and now just inflamed from it.
