my 7 month old rooster has this gurgle noise after he crows, and he sneezes alot. He is free range with a good appetite..no discharge or weird poop. Pen is kept clean..shavings..dry..noticed one of the other roosters sneezing now. Not that easy to quarantine 23 chcikens from each other

Are they acting lethargic or have puffy or half closed eyes? They might have an upper respiratory infection. Please give more info.

We had a rooster that had a respiratory problem. He often had a gurgling sound while he was breathing and after he crowed. If the rooster is wheezing or his breathing sounds weird, my best guess would be to quarantine him. I found that a chicken's lungs are actually at the base of their neck, not behind the crop (which is what I had thought). I would think that that would be the place to listen if you want to hear his breathing.
As for sneezing, all our chickens have sneezed since we got them. On its own, I don't think it's a problem, but with other symptoms it may be.
Hope they do alright!

My 7 month old RIR Rooster sounds just like yours. He sneezes quite a bit and sometimes gurgles when he breathes but otherwise he acts normal. He has been doing that since I got him over two weeks ago. he eats all of the time and mates quite a bit also. He doesn't act sick at all.

Mine free range after I get home after work in the afternoon. I'm just going to keep an eye on him and see what happens.

they act normal..alert..no discharge..normal poop..def some type of respitory thing going on...started with 1..now all have it

Administer LS-50 to their water daily for a few days and the turnaround will amaze you and will treat the entire flock. great stuff you should always have on hand as an ole standby miracle treatment for many disorders.
