Guy wants $21/each to process my meat turkeys. Is this reasonable?

I just did a small turkey, and I was surprised by the amount of small feathers left. It made me appreciate the job my local slaughter house does on a turkey. THey did 8 turkeys for me at dressed weights of 22-23 for the hens and 35-36 for the males. At $10 each. a bargain. And worth the extra feed to get to that size. Takes us a few days to eat the whole thing!

Grocery store you can get turkeys for about $4 around Thanksgiving.  But I like the idea of eating a turkey I raised myself.  I think I will do a little more shopping around.  I thought the price sounded unusually high.

this is horrible!! I charge $6 for turkeys, $5 for ducks and $4 for chickens, regardless of weight.
