This is Big Bertha's cousin, Puff. S/he's also eight-weeks old and from Meyer Hatchery. S/he's not aggressive, but very curious. Shy around the Bigs (you can see the chunk one of the big birds took out of that tail feather!), but not hesitant to fly at the other Littles to figure out her place in the pecking order. Her big green feet are not as big as Flash's (the probable male BLRW from that same batch) and she doesn't have a noticeable comb or wattles. Should I eggspect blue eggs in the nest box or is he destined for the stew pot?

Blue, Green and possibly Pink from what I read. I have easter eggers that hatched late March. They were sold as Ameracunas but they are really Easter Eggers. They should start laying this month so I am eager to see what colors I get.

they say green, blue, pink, or even white from an EE....but my vote is on green.

Here is a bright green egg typical of one of our 2 EE. The other lays a lighter shade of green. This is the very first egg from this EE, but most of her eggs are this shade so far, but she has only been laying for a couple of months.
