I took a leafhopper off my angel wing begonia, which is spending the summer outside, and fed it to the chicks. Omelet grabbed it and a game of chicken football ensued.

They also got a bug-bitten green bean, though the culprit had fled and left the damage behind.

Bite my plants, bugs, and I'll feed you to my chickens!

I had a grasshopper ride my shoulder three laps around the lower section of the lawn this morning but since that was the opposite end of the property and it jumped off before I was done the chickens didn't get that one.

I hate getting off the mower if I don't HAVE to when I'm in a mowing rhythm.
