I like to cut my peppers into thick rings and then make them like bread and butter pickles. You get the nice sweet crunchy start and then end with a little heat - My wife lived on these when she was prego with my son - no surprise he is 8 and LOVES spicy food, hot peppers and hot sauce!
I've never had one. Never seen them for sale in the store either. Was lucky to find some fresh jalapeno the other day for salsa. We have a Mexican friend that made some hot, hot, hot dip of some sort, and I wondered if that was what he made them with.
BTW, what do they look like? Maybe I should plant one next year.
