Other than illness problems is it possible to add 2 more egg layers to the 2 that I have left to get back to 4?
all fully grown and laying

Yes it is possible. To make sure you aren't spreading anything to you existing flock, quarantine the new birds for 30 days.

Im confused. You have 4 hens at the moment and you want to add two more hens? Ya its safe to do this but if you do remember to separate them first so that the new ones are quarantined for a few weeks. Is your coop big enough for 6 hens also when you add them i would keep an i on them at first. AND WELCOME!!!!
